TOP STREAM 32.1Kbps (16 Khz) Ron O'Brien, WQXI Atlanta, 1972 (08:57) . . . That's a very nice lunar command module you have there, dear . . . Description by Uncle Ricky Ron O'Brien was running wide-open for the early evening slot on legendary WQXI, Atlanta. O'Brien's volume is pretty much maxxed throughout this 1972 aircheck. This (April/May?) treasure includes that strange and memorable not-really-acapella jingle that QUIXIE used in the early 1970's and a genuine Top 40 music blend that tries hard to keep those European-American teenage males listening to AM. (Edgar Winter & White Trash?) Ron O'Brien passed away on April 27, 2008.
