ROBERT W. MORGAN BOSSOGRAPHY

THE ROBERT W. MORGAN BOSSOGRAPHY
THE GROOVY SHOW, 1969

[Introduction by Kevin Gershan]

Robert W. Morgan, like many of the other Boss Jocks, did double duty while at 93/KHJ.

KHJ-TV(Channel 9) was in the same building at 5515 Melrose Avenue — adjacent to the Paramount Pictures studios in Hollywood, and used the absolutely overwhelming popularity of 93/KHJ's talent for some of their TV shows.

The Real Don Steele had a show named after him. Sam Riddle hosted 9th Street West and Robert W. Morgan did both a Saturday morning show called 'Morgan's Alley', and the show featured here: 'Groovy'.

These shows were the launch pad for other jocks around the country to do the same type of vehicles in their local markets, but few did it with finesse of these Los Angeles pros.
