TOP STREAM 64Kbps (15Khz STEREO)
. . . OK, you got a tape measure? . . . [Description by Uncle Ricky] Here's the final part of a three-part stereo recording of The Slim One on KKHR-FM in Los Angeles on October 24, 1985. Part One is here, Part Two is here. This is terrific mid-80's CHR with high-energy jingles and our favorite slender lady behind the mic. The 15th caller qualifies for KKHR's Major Motion contest, which offers two brand new Nissan 300-ZX cars as prizes each with $10,000 in the glovebox! Is that Aretha Franklin wailing the virtues of Dial soap? Heads Up! (snicker) there's also a great spot for Re-Animator (way beyond the possibility of ANY rating...) Some music was lost during a tape change, but otherwise, this exhibit is unscoped and although the original recording was a bit clipped on the high end, the stereo sounds very nice. |
