Smooth and personable Jim Stagg gets the wakeup chores done on KYA, playing "Golden Gate Greats" including Dickie Goodman's Untouchables parody.

Jim had been at WIBG, Philadelphia, left KYA to program sister station WOKY, Milwaukee, went to KYW, and then on to a lengthy run in Chicago, most notably at WCFL and WMAQ.

Jim died of cancer in 2007 at age 72.
