[Description by Uncle Ricky for Contributor Jeff Ricou] Our first KHJ V-Disc was contributed by Dave Randall and debuted on January 28, 2001. And now, for January 30, 2011, Jeff Ricou offers our second KHJ V-Disc, dated October 8, 1969. Yes, it was a Wonderrific Wednesday. Did we ever decide what a V-DISC was? Was it for VICTORY, VIETNAM, VETERANS, or VINYL? I think we did determine most of these were partially edited segments of actual Real Don Steele programs. ADVISORY: Play at a lower volume. The contributor and I both agree: The fidelity on this one is disappointing. It was a very grungy record. In fact, it's downright gritty at times. Fortunately, the 'scoped version is tolerable for those who don't listen for the music.
