This is an aircheck of my radio show on KBOX, circa 1961. It was recorded between 2:00 and 3:00 AM. Especially nice is the 2:55AM newscast which was done by yours truly.

When I got hired, I was told they already had a Jerry (Jerry Clemmons) and a Bill (Bill Holley), so I was given the name Danny Preston. (Preston Center was the biggest shopping center in Dallas at the time.)

I had to go to WQAM in Miami with Bill and Gary Mack before I was able to finally use my real name.
