"This was a short-lived Saturday night program which aired on Capital Gold in London, 1991. This program made very early use of what was then switched 56/ISDN technology. Bruce Morrow was in our studio in NYC and his co-host Paul Burnett was in the Capital Gold studio in London. With only a list of what songs and what features they'd be playing, they would ad-lib the voice tracks for a two-hour program each week. I'd take the tracks and edit and mix the show into a finished product. The results, in my opinion, were quite impressive. I don't think this show sounds voice-tracked or canned in any way. It's really a tribute to the talents of Bruce Morrow and his co-host, Paul Burnett."

Cousin Brucie says Santa Claus is in New York, but Paul Burnett says he is in London. The TransAtlantic Request Line is activated, and Brucie "auditions" new acts for a upcoming tour. Both hours offer some welcome musical surprises. Fortunately, Bruce's last audition is a hit. And, contributor and engineer Dave Saviet has a cameo appearance in Part Two! |
